OFFICIAL SONG FOR ANTI-BULLYING WEEK 2007, 16.11.07 .
Singer-songwriter Nick Hall is releasing his new track STICKS AND STONES as the official song for this year's Anti-Bullying Week, (November 19-23) in aid of Bullying UK. The track is available via HMV downloads now buy it here and will be available on iTunes as a featured download from November 19.
Nick is passionate about the anti-bullying cause because of his own experience as a child. "I suffered a great deal of bullying, ridicule and torment during my school years. For most of my youth I was a shy, scared and unconfident person so I know first hand the effect this can have on a child," he said.
Nick, from Birmingham, who grew up playing guitar and singing in a number of different bands, is donating his artist share of net proceeds of the single sales to Bullying UK, the UK's leading anti-bullying charity, to support our vital work.
John Carnell, Bullying UK's founder, said: "We are delighted to be working with such an up-and coming star. Nick's song Sticks and Stones is an inspirational message to never let bullying stop you being the person you want to be."
